The Challenge
Multiple areas of the roof had failed at an industrial distribution centre in Hemel Hempstead, allowing water to enter the building.
The distribution centre was live, so the task was to identify the affected areas and address the leaks in an operational setting. The repair scope covered 100m² across the failed areas, rather than the entire roof.
Our Approach
We surveyed the roof to establish where the failures had occurred and identify the areas requiring attention.
Liquid waterproofing patch repairs were then carried out to the identified areas. The targeted works covered 100m² and were completed over three days.
The Result
The treated areas are now protected and the leaks associated with those areas have been resolved.
We also provided further recommendations for other parts of the roof, giving the client guidance on work beyond the patch repairs carried out.
