The Challenge
The existing metal box gutter at a commercial retail building in Camberley had become corroded and required attention.
Existing pest proofing was also blocking access to the gutters. The work therefore needed to address both the condition of the gutter and the pest-proofing arrangement, alongside repairs to the pitched roof covering.
Our Approach
We surveyed the roof to establish the condition of the existing roof covering and box gutters before carrying out the repair works.
The corroded gutter areas were prepared and treated, and a liquid waterproofing system was specified for the box gutters. The gutter scope measured 60 linear metres.
Individual roof-covering replacements were carried out across the pitched roof. New pest proofing was installed once the gutter works were complete.
The Result
The two-week project brought together box gutter waterproofing, corrosion treatment and repairs to the pitched roof covering.
Completion of the gutter works was followed by the installation of new pest proofing, replacing the previous arrangement that had obstructed access.
